Q: What is the cost of the classes?
A: Classes are free.  The class at Good Shepherd UMC in Charlotte charges a $10 book fee.

Q: How much are the teachers paid?
A: All of the workers are volunteers.  No one at the class sites is paid for their work.

Q: Can I bring my children?                            A:  All of the class sites have child care for children birth through age 10, or 5th grade.     

Q:  How do I register for class?                       A:  Registration is open.  You can come to any class at any time of the year to register.

Q:  How do I know which class to go to?        A:  You can go to the class that is closest to your home.  You can also go to additional classes that meet on other nights of the week.

Q:  I want to volunteer to help, but I don't speak another language.                               A:  Students are required to speak English in class.  Volunteers don't need to speak another language.  Only English is required.
